Pakistani celebrity couple Urwa Hocane and Farhan Saeed welcomed their firstborn, a baby girl they named Jahan Aara Saeed, on Friday.
Urwa, a famous stage and film actress, announced the baby’s birth on Instagram.
The star introduced the message with a Quranic verse from Surah Rehman on blessings from Allah, revealing that “joy, blessings and the most precious gift” of his life had arrived.
She informed her fans that the family will call the baby by her short name “Aara”.
“You are forever the queen of our hearts!” Thank you, Aara, for giving us unimaginable happiness and gratitude! With your birth it is also a rebirth for us. We hope to learn from you and become better parents every day.
She also prayed for the baby’s success and well-being.
The Instagram post featured two photos, one of the new parents holding Aara’s hand and the other with a collage of Urwa and Farhan holding the baby in their arms.
However, they hid the baby’s face.
The same was posted by singer Sajni’s official account on Instagram.
The couple announced the pregnancy last October.
The celebrities got married in 2016 soon after the success of their drama serial Udaari.
In 2020, the couple faced rumors of a failed marriage, which deeply disrupted their devoted fan base. But with the support of their families, Urwa and Farhan weathered these rough waters, emerged stronger and rekindled the love that made them a beloved power couple in the world of Pakistani entertainment.
