Famous Pakistani actress Sarah Khan recently shared her ambitions for cross-border film projects in an exclusive interview with Bollywood Hungama. The Sabaat actress showed her admiration for Indian cinema and her dream collaboration with Bollywood icon Salman Khan.
Sarah, who initially had no intention of entering the entertainment industry, admitted: ‘I never thought about it because I didn’t want to act. But one thing I had in mind was that when I thought about acting, I also thought that one day I would do a film with Salman Khan at least once.
The celebrity is currently enthralling the audience in Zindagi’s 12-episode mini-series, Abdullahpur Ka Devdas, opposite Bilal Abbas Khan and Raza Talish. The series, which explores the timeless themes of love and friendship, has been praised for its gripping storyline and the chemistry between leads Sarah and Bilal.
Despite her busy schedule, Sarah shared her TV preferences and called family time a priority, especially with her young daughter. She revealed that while her husband Falak Shabbir does not have the luxury of watching content alone, he is an avid consumer of Indian shows and content on platforms like Netflix, which they enjoy together as a family.
Besides Salman, Sarah expressed her admiration for Bollywood stars Shah Rukh Khan and Hrithik Roshan, explaining that she, like many others, has been a fan since childhood.
The actress, who essayed the role of Gulbano, reflected on her role in Abdullahpur and shared, “When I went to meet the director for the first time, my first question was, ‘Who is Devdas?’ After that, I thought: It was better to create Gulbano, a very strong and powerful character. When she loves someone, she is ready to do anything for that love.
In October last year, the 31-year-old sparked concerns among fans when her husband Falak shared an Instagram Story with a disturbing photo of her preparing for an MRI and about to undergo a scan. “Prayers needed,” the singer wrote in the text overlaid.
