Nick Jonas and Paul Rudd Star in John Carney’s ‘Power Ballad’

Nick Jonas and Paul Rudd have co-starred with John Carney in ‘Power Ballad’.

Variety confirmed on Thursday (May 2) that the duo was currently in Dublin filming the upcoming musical comedy starring Carney, known for his work in Once and Sing Street.

Carney co-wrote the project’s screenplay with Pete McDonald. The film’s official description reads: “An uplifting and musical story about a wedding singer, a rock singer and the song that separates them.”

The Jonas Brothers singer and Rudd are both famous faces known for showing off their acting skills in various movies and shows.

The 31-year-old singer-songwriter and actor has a number of notable films to his name, including Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, Camp Rock and Scream Queens.

In addition to his film appearances, Jonas also starred in the television appearance of Jersey Boys Live! of.

Meanwhile, Rudd, 55, landed a role in Only Murder in the Buildings opposite Selena Gomez. The actor is known for his appearances in the films “Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire”, “Knocked Up” and “Marvel’s Ant-Man”.

Additionally, it’s unclear when Jonas and Rudd will appear on-screen together, as Power Ballad’s release date is not yet known.
