Anne Hathaway has revealed that she felt a rush of adrenaline when she first met her husband, Adam Shulman.
In an interview with Seth Meyers on Late Night in 2023, the “Idea of You” star gave some insight into her relationship with her husband, noting, “We just put on the pajamas.”
“You know, I had a moment where I was curled up on his chest and we were watching the third period at Abbott Elementary School, and I thought, ‘I’m so happy.’ “This is it for me,” she beamed.
Anne and Adam first met through a mutual connection, which created an instant bond.
Speaking exclusively to Vogue in 2010, the Interstellar star said: “We hit it off straight away, but it took a while for us to get together.”
“He thought I had a boyfriend and I thought he had a girlfriend, so I thought I better keep my distance because I didn’t want to be that girl,” she said at the time.
Anne later told Harper’s Bazaar that it was love at first sight, noting, “From the moment I met him, I knew he was the love of my life.”
She added: “I also knew I couldn’t have met him at a worse time. I challenged my confidence and took him for a ridiculous ride.
For those without experience, the couple got married in 2012.
