Britney Spears signs film deal

Britney Spears signs film deal based on memoir ‘The Woman in Me’

Britney Spears recently revealed that the singer is ‘convinced’ her memoir ‘The Woman In Me’ will become a ‘hit movie’.

According to In Touch Weekly, a report suggests that Sony is the frontrunner and is currently preparing to adapt the memoir into a film.

An insider confirmed exclusively to the outlet: “Britney is confident it will be a masterpiece and a blockbuster. We’ll see.”

The ‘Princess of Pop’ detailed her life in her memoir, including numerous allegations against her ex-boyfriend Justin Timberlake, who cheated on the ‘Toxic’ star and encouraged her to have an abortion while she was pregnant with her baby.

Britney echoed her hysteria, saying it was “one of the most excruciating things I’ve ever experienced in my life.”

The singer then opened up about her 2007 breakdown, which forced her to shave her head, noting, “Growing up, I got stared at so much. Ever since I was a teenager, people have looked at me up and down and told me what they thought of my body.”

“Shaving my head and taking action was my way of fighting back,” she added.

For those unfamiliar, Britney’s memoir was released in October 2023.
